- Generate monthly financial reports and provide insights based on variance analysis
- Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
- Coordinate with other departments to prepare the annual budget
- Prepare quarterly and annual forecasting reports
- Monitor the performance of portfolios and recommend actions based on economic trends
- Support management team and owners with in-depth analysis
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
- Maintain and improve financial reporting guidelines, processes and systems
- Conduct benchmarking and process analysis to improve operational efficiencies
- Assist with financial audits and tax filings
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed by management
- Provide technical support and advice on Financial Accounting Standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization projects
