On a typical day, you will...

- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
- Provide technical support to staff either in person, via phone, or through email
- Set up new users' accounts and profiles, and address issues related to login, access, and permissions
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure and monitor for potential security breaches
- Analyze and determine the IT needs and requirements of the organization or client
- Document user issues and resolutions for future reference
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams for advanced issue resolution
- Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software resources
- Update and maintain system documentation and optimize system efficiency
- Create and manage backups and data recovery strategies
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and rollouts
- Test and evaluate new technologies and applications
- Provide training and guidance to users on new systems and updates
