Cyber Defense Analyst

A Cyber Defense Analyst is responsible for continuously monitoring an organization’s networks for security breaches and other suspicious activities. This entails utilizing a range of security tools and software to detect potential intrusions, malicious attacks, and vulnerabilities within the system. They analyze security incidents to understand the attack methodologies and extent of the breach, providing comprehensive reports detailing their findings. This role also involves developing and implementing appropriate countermeasures to patch vulnerabilities and prevent future incidents. Cyber Defense Analysts work closely with other IT professionals to ensure systems are fortified against emerging threats and maintain detailed logs of network traffic and performance.
