Responsabilities

The Production Support Manager is tasked with ensuring that production systems are maintained at optimal performance levels and are reliable. This involves continuous monitoring of system performance, addressing and resolving technical issues promptly, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to maintain system integrity. They manage and prioritize incidents, implement preventive measures to avoid future disruptions, and ensure timely communication and resolution of issues. They also work closely with development and operations teams to implement system improvements and updates, keeping systems aligned with operational goals and best practices. The manager educates and enforces compliance standards and best practices across teams to prevent systemic issues and uphold system reliability.

Additionally, the Production Support Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, incident response procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. They oversee the creation and execution of disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity in the event of a system failure. The manager also analyzes incident trends to identify areas for improvement, recommending and implementing changes to enhance system stability and performance. By fostering a proactive approach to system management, they contribute significantly to minimizing technical debt and enhancing the overall productivity and efficiency of the production environment.
