An IT Field Technician plays a crucial role in providing on-site technical support and maintenance for computer systems, network infrastructure, and other IT-related equipment. They are responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless operation for end-users. Requirements

Responsabilities

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems at client sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site
- Set up and manage computer networks, including routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Perform routine maintenance on computers, servers, and IT equipment
- Offer technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
- Plan and schedule service visits in collaboration with IT team members and clients
- Document client interactions, troubleshooting procedures, and solutions in a ticketing system
- Upgrade or replace hardware components such as hard drives, memory, and peripherals
- Conduct network performance testing and implement optimization measures
- Ensure proper execution and secure storage of data backups
- Adhere to IT security best practices and company compliance policies
- Stay informed on current IT technologies, systems, and industry trends
- Create and maintain technical documentation and user manuals
- Manage and track inventory of IT equipment and supplies
