- Address and resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies from clients and attorneys
- Maintain accurate and organized client billing files and financial records
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable reports
- Process write-offs, adjustments, and credit memos as necessary
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure alignment with financial policies and procedures
- Provide regular billing status updates and reports to management
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing necessary accruals
- Train new staff on billing procedures and systems
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other departments regarding billing issues
