- Perform due diligence on prospective deals, including reviewing financial statements, business contracts, and operational metrics
- Collaborate with corporate development, finance, legal, and operations teams to coordinate and execute M&A transactions
- Analyze financial statements to identify cost synergies and revenue enhancement opportunities
- Maintain and update databases of M&A activity, including tracking deal flow and maintaining detailed records
- Engage in negotiations and discussions with target companies, advisors, and consultants
- Prepare and present detailed financial impact analyses for proposed mergers and acquisitions
- Monitor the post-merger integration process to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and compliance requirements that could impact M&A activities
- Develop and maintain financial models for ongoing portfolio companies and potential acquisitions
