Description

A Credit and Collections Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit granting and collections process within a company. This role involves evaluating customers' creditworthiness, establishing credit policies, and setting up terms of credit. - Evaluate credit applications and perform credit checks to assess risk
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and discrepancies
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and collection activities to senior management
- Implement collection strategies to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting software
- Supervise and train collections staff to ensure effective and efficient operations
- Coordinate with external collection agencies and legal counsel for unresolved accounts
