A Scrum Master (Data) plays a crucial role in facilitating Agile practices within data-centric projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous improvement among cross-functional teams. Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role
- Proven experience managing data-focused projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum

Responsabilities

- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Guide the team in following Agile/Scrum best practices and methodologies
- Remove obstacles that hinder team progress and prevent goal achievement
- Ensure transparency of the team's work and progress by maintaining sprint and product backlogs
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog
- Track and report on key sprint metrics such as velocity, burn-down, and burn-up charts
- Coach team members on Scrum principles and Agile techniques
- Assist the team in decomposing user stories into smaller, manageable tasks
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
- Enhance team communication and address collaboration issues
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement through regular feedback and adjustments
- Ensure the team has the necessary resources, tools, and training to succeed
- Manage cross-team dependencies and facilitate coordination with other Scrum Masters
- Educate and engage stakeholders on Agile processes and the team's progress
- Help maintain a sustainable work pace and balance workloads to prevent burnout
- Support the team in delivering high-quality, incremental value in each sprint
- Champion Agile principles and values within the organization

On a typical day, you will...

- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to ensure team alignment
- Coordinate and manage sprint planning sessions to define sprint goals and tasks
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure the team’s progress
- Monitor the sprint backlog and product backlog to maintain transparency
- Guide the team on Scrum practices and ensure they are followed
- Conduct sprint reviews and retrospectives to evaluate and improve team performance
- Collaborate with Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog
- Track and report on sprint metrics, including velocity and burn-down charts
- Assist the team in breaking down user stories into actionable tasks
- Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team communication and cohesion
- Promote continuous improvement through regular feedback and adaptation
