Responsabilities

As a Fintech Risk Analyst, your primary responsibility is to conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods to identify potential risks in fintech operations. This includes examining transaction processes, financial models, and technical infrastructures to uncover vulnerabilities and ensure that they align with regulatory standards. You will regularly monitor data for signs of emerging threats, such as cyber-attacks, fraudulent activities, and market fluctuations, enabling you to provide timely and actionable insights to mitigate these risks. Your role demands continuous collaboration with other departments, such as IT, compliance, and finance, to develop comprehensive risk management strategies and maintain an up-to-date awareness of the evolving fintech landscape.

In addition to risk detection, you will be responsible for creating and implementing risk mitigation frameworks and policies that safeguard the organization’s technology and financial interests. This involves designing scenarios and conducting stress tests to evaluate the effectiveness of current risk controls and the potential impact of different risk factors. You will also prepare detailed reports and present findings to senior management, offering recommendations for enhancing the security and functionality of fintech solutions. Recommended studies/certifications

For a Fintech Risk Analyst role, obtaining a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science, or a related field is highly recommended.
