Description

A Distribution Operations Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing the flow of goods and materials within a company's supply chain. This role involves analyzing data to improve distribution efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. The analyst works closely with logistics teams, inventory management, and supply chain coordinators to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions. Requirements

- Communicate with vendors and carriers to resolve any shipping or delivery issues
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards within the distribution operations
- Support the preparation and execution of seasonal and promotional distribution plans
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align distribution operations with overall business strategies
- Provide training and support to distribution staff on operational best practices and system usage
- Troubleshoot and resolve any system or process issues that impact distribution activities
