An Import/Export Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and international trade laws. They coordinate the transportation of goods, handle necessary documentation, and work closely with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery. Responsabilities

- Prepare, review, and process import and export documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Resolve issues related to delayed or problematic shipments.
- Communicate shipment status and requirements to suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
- Verify and manage inventory levels for incoming and outgoing goods.
- Calculate and confirm freight charges, tariffs, and taxes.

- Maintain accurate records of shipments and customs documentation.
- Conduct evaluations of vendor performance.
- Negotiate freight contracts and rates with vendors.
- Arrange insurance coverage for goods in transit.
