A Legal Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth functioning of a legal team or law firm. - Manage and organize the legal executive's calendar, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases and projects.
- Prepare and process legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, and contracts.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, court officials, and other stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain confidential files and records, both physical and electronic.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Assist in the preparation for court proceedings, including gathering and organizing evidence and exhibits.
- Monitor and manage project deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Organize and maintain the legal executive’s office and filing systems.
- Process and track invoices, billing, and expense reports.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for the legal executive.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Attend meetings and take detailed minutes for future reference.
- Provide administrative support in various capacities as needed.
