Assistant Controller

The Assistant Controller is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail to maintain the integrity of financial data and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Assistant Controller also plays a key role in preparing financial statements, coordinating annual audits, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Assistant Controller is responsible for managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring all financial operations run efficiently and effectively.

Beyond these core accounting functions, the Assistant Controller assists in the development and implementation of internal controls to mitigate risk and safeguard the company’s financial assets. This role involves collaborating with other departments to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting accuracy, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The Assistant Controller also supports budgeting and forecasting activities, helping to prepare financial projections and analyze variances against actual performance.
