Description

An Agile Coach plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies within an organization. They offer guidance, support, and training to teams, helping them embrace Agile principles such as flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement. By fostering an environment of transparency and open communication, Agile Coaches encourage teams to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality of output. Additionally, they work closely with leadership to align Agile practices with business goals, ensuring a cohesive approach to project delivery and sustainable organizational transformation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICE-AC) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Agile environments.
- Proven experience coaching and mentoring Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.).
- Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello, etc.).
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Persistent and resilient with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role is a plus.
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.) is preferred.

Responsabilities

- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings for agile teams.
- Mentor and coach teams on Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct training workshops on Agile principles for team members and stakeholders.
- Assist teams in implementing and adapting Agile processes and tools.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Support the development and maintenance of team and project metrics.
- Help resolve conflicts and issues within the teams.
- Guide teams through the process of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and review meetings.
- Advocate for Agile practices and principles throughout the organization.
- Provide support and consulting to management on Agile transformation initiatives.
- Encourage and assist in the self-organization of teams.
- Ensure the transparent communication of Agile processes and progress across the organization.
- Identify and address potential risks and impediments to team progress.
- Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.
- Help teams maintain focus on delivering high-quality, valuable products.
- Track and communicate team progress to stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies.
- Engage in regular check-ins with individual team members to support their development and address concerns.
