Responsabilities

- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives
- Communicate with employees to explain benefits options, eligibility requirements, and enrollment procedures
- Process new hire and annual enrollment paperwork and ensure accurate data entry into benefits systems
- Coordinate with payroll to ensure correct deductions and contributions for employee benefits
- Assist employees with claims resolution and troubleshoot issues related to benefits coverage and payments
- Conduct benefits orientation sessions for new employees and answer any questions they may have
- Maintain up-to-date records of employee benefits elections and changes
- Prepare and distribute benefits-related communications, such as summaries of benefits and coverage notices
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee benefits
- Collaborate with benefits vendors and providers to manage plan renewals, updates, and discrepancies
- Monitor and analyze benefits utilization and costs, providing reports to management as needed
- Schedule and manage open enrollment periods, including creating timelines and organizing events
- Support leave of absence administration, including FMLA, disability, and parental leave
- Assist with audits of benefits programs to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Stay current on benefits trends, regulations, and best practices to recommend improvements to benefits programs
- Handle confidential employee information with the highest level of care and discretion
- Provide excellent customer service to employees, responding promptly to inquiries and providing accurate information
- Create and maintain benefits materials, such as guides, FAQs, and intranet content
