A Junior Accountant plays a crucial role in supporting the financial department by performing essential accounting tasks. - Record daily financial transactions accurately in ledgers.
- Prepare and process various financial documents including invoices and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in preparing key financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain and update the general ledger and subsidiary accounts regularly.
- Compile and enter payroll data for processing.
- Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable and payable.
