Description

A Nonprofit Recruiter plays a vital role in ensuring that nonprofit organizations find and retain dedicated, mission-driven professionals. This role involves sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to fill a variety of positions within the organization, from entry-level roles to executive leadership. Nonprofit Recruiters collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and build a strong talent pipeline. They must balance the unique challenges of the nonprofit sector, such as limited budgets and high turnover rates, with the need to attract individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

Requirements

Responsabilities

- Source potential candidates through various recruitment channels
- Identify qualified candidates by reviewing resumes and applications
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate fit and interest
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Maintain relationships with candidates and provide updates throughout the recruitment process
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop job descriptions
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to manage candidate information
- Perform background and reference checks as required
- Attend job fairs and community events to build a candidate pipeline
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies and campaigns
- Provide candidate feedback based on interview outcomes
- Prepare and present recruitment reports and metrics to senior management
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, procedures, and legal regulations
- Support onboarding processes including start date coordination and new hire paperwork
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new hires
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives
