Description

A Recruiter plays a vital role in the talent acquisition process, responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for an organization. This role involves sourcing candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, and networking events. Recruiters screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process. They also maintain candidate databases, provide an excellent candidate experience, and stay updated on industry trends and labor laws. Effective recruiters are excellent communicators, strong decision-makers, and adept at building relationships.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either in-house or a staffing agency)
- Excellent understanding of recruitment processes and employer branding strategies
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases

- Screen resumes and applications for preliminary qualification
- Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess candidate suitability
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Conduct thorough reference checks on potential hires
- Negotiate salary and benefits with candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and requirements
- Maintain and update applicant tracking system with candidate information
- Attend job fairs and networking events to source potential candidates
- Develop and implement creative recruitment strategies
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide feedback
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions and professional organizations
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in the recruitment process
- Coordinate background checks and onboarding processes for new hires
- Compile and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide training and guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques and best practices
- Promote company culture and values to potential candidates
- Prepare and present recruitment reports to HR and management teams
