Description

A Senior Employee Relations Manager plays a critical role in fostering positive relationships between employees and management. This role is responsible for addressing and resolving workplace issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining a positive work environment. They develop and implement policies, provide guidance on employee rights, and mediate disputes to promote a harmonious workplace. Responsabilities

- Lead investigations into employee grievances and disciplinary issues
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
- Develop and implement employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures
- Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation processes between employees and managers
- Conduct regular training sessions for management on employee relations best practices
- Analyze and interpret employee data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns and issues
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with employee representatives and unions
- Prepare reports and documentation related to employee relations activities
- Participate in the planning and execution of layoffs, terminations, and disciplinary actions
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of employee relations programs and make recommendations for enhancements
- Sit in on disciplinary meetings and provide support to both the employee and the management
- Oversee the communication of employee relations policies and procedures across the organization
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in employee relations and labor laws
