Description

A Supplier Quality Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of products and materials sourced from external suppliers. This professional is responsible for developing and implementing quality control systems, conducting audits, and establishing performance metrics to evaluate supplier performance. They collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The Supplier Quality Manager also works with internal teams to align quality objectives, enhance supply chain efficiency, and support overall business goals through rigorous supplier management practices.

Requirements

Responsabilities

- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality standards, delivery, and cost.
- Conduct regular audits of suppliers for compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
- Develop and implement supplier quality management programs.
- Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Develop and implement incoming inspection criteria for supplier-provided materials.
- Foster continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

- Manage supplier-related non-conformance reports.
- Support supplier qualification and validation in product development.

Ideal Candidate

- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop and implement incoming inspection criteria for supplier-provided materials.
