An Environmental Recruiter specializes in identifying and attracting top talent for roles within the environmental sector. - Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and fit for environmental roles.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
- Write and post job descriptions for environmental positions on various recruiting channels.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Use applicant tracking systems to manage and update candidate records and recruitment metrics.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to hiring managers following interviews.
- Negotiate job offers with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Participate in job fairs, industry conferences, and other networking events to promote opportunities.
- Perform reference checks and verify candidates’ employment history and credentials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in environmental recruitment.
