Description

A Media Recruiter is responsible for identifying and attracting talented individuals to work within the media industry. This role involves understanding the needs and dynamics of media organizations and matching them with the right candidates. Media Recruiters source potential employees through various channels, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. They stay up-to-date with industry trends and employment practices to strategically fill positions in areas such as production, journalism, marketing, and digital content creation. - Post job openings on appropriate platforms and ensure they are advertised effectively.
- Review resumes and applications to shortlist candidates for further consideration.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain candidate database and track progress of each hiring process.
- Provide feedback to candidates throughout the hiring process and manage communication.
- Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Attend industry events and networking activities to build relationships and expand the candidate pipeline.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Manage recruitment-related documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors.
- Conduct reference checks and verify candidate credentials.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and provide reports to management to improve the recruitment process.
