Description

A Project Accountant plays a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of projects within an organization. They are responsible for tracking project costs, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Working closely with project managers, they provide essential financial insights, helping to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time. Their duties also include cost analysis, forecasting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project accounting or related field

- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for assigned projects

- Assist in the preparation and submission of financial statements and reports to clients
- Evaluate and address project financial risks and opportunities
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial regulations
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics departments to align project financial activities
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for various project scenarios and decisions
- Prepare and submit periodic tax filings and other regulatory reports related to projects
